Get Involved!

There are many ways to involve yourself in the club, and the Democratic process. The first, and simplest, is to join!

Membership dues for the Lakewood Democratic Club are $10 per year, or $5 per year for persons 65 years of age or older. You are removed from the membership list if you haven’t paid your dues for two consecutive years.

Volunteer Opportunities

There are many things you can do to support Democratic candidates and key issues in both local and national elections. Perhaps you'd be willing to:

Call voters for local campaigns
Call voters for national campaigns
Collect email addresses
Write letters to the editor
Help with fundraising
Help organize events
Help maintain the website
Stuff envelopes for mailing
Help with computer data entry
Perform candidate & issue literature drops
Work at a polling place
Help with hospitality (food for meetings, etc.)

You'll find this list on the application form. Simply check the ones that interest you. Have any ideas of your own? Send an email. We're also interested in any ideas you have on how we can improve the Lakewood Democratic Club and be more effective in promoting Democratic candidates.
