About Us.
The Lakewood Democratic
Club is the official Democratic Party organization for the
City of
Lakewood. It formed in the early 1980s; prior to that time, each
ward in Lakewood had its own individual Democratic Club.
The Club currently
consists of approximately 200 members, making it one of the larger
local organizations in Ohio. It is governed by five elected officers.
Currently, those officers are:

Joe Dangelo, 2nd Vice President
Gayle Wellman, Treasurer
Geraldine Nelson, Secretary
The Lakewood Democratic
Club exists to support and advocate for Democratic issues and
candidates. It achieves these goals by endorsing candidates,
holding events, sending out mailings, raising money, campaigning,
hosting guest speakers at its monthly meetings, and various other
activities.
Yearly dues are $10,
with a discounted senior citizen rate of $5. If you'd like to
